Job Description

As a key member of our team, the Hospitality Lead plays a vital role in driving revenue and enhancing guest experiences at Novecento Mary Brickell Village. This role requires a warm and sincere approach to providing exceptional service, building lasting relationships, and acting as an ambassador for our restaurant brand and company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the guest greeting process, ensuring a warm welcome and farewell, and upholding the '10/5' rule.
  • Be the incremental sales leader in the restaurant, engaging guests and identifying opportunities to increase revenue.
  • Reinforce steps of service on the floor to ensure optimal guest experiences.
  • Build lasting relationships with guests by engaging with them on a personal level and gathering insights on their preferences and feedback.
  • Maintain our Reservation Platform up to date with accurate guest information.
  • Stay informed of events and promotions and deliver guest feedback to the Marketing Department.
  • Work closely with the Catering and Private event teams to turn guest introductions into relationships and ensure leads captured as a result of guest engagement are closed as events.

Qualifications:

  • Previous hospitality/retail experience is helpful, but not required.
  • Must possess warm, sincere hospitality and a strong sales acumen.
  • Must be outgoing and able to 'break the ice' and enthusiastically communicate with strangers.
  • Must successfully complete server and host training and be able to execute all aspects of those roles when called upon.
  • Must be able to maintain a fast pace for long periods of time and work in a standing position for extended periods.
