Academic Success Specialist (Speech Language Pathologist)
OverviewAt Soliant Health, we are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team near Gages Lake, IL. As a key member of our academic support team, you will play a pivotal role in providing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorder services to students, enabling them to achieve academic and social success through effective communication skills.

Salary and BenefitsCompetitive salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job DescriptionAs a Speech-Language Pathologist at Soliant Health, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
- Providing therapy sessions to improve speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Educating students and their families on speech-language disorders, therapy techniques, and strategies for improvement.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, psychologists, and educators, to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for certification.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Previous clinical experience, particularly in diagnosing and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and healthcare team members.
- Compassion, patience, and empathy for individuals with speech and language challenges.
