Senior Sales Manager Waste Management

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, a deep understanding of the waste management industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
This is a unique opportunity to drive sales growth, build strong customer relationships, and lead a team of dedicated sales professionals. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and negotiating contracts with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals and revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Greater Boston area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably within the waste management or environmental services industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the waste management industry, including regulations, market trends, and best practices.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the Greater Boston area as needed.
