Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. In this role, you will be responsible for managing internal audit and risk management consulting activities within Information Technology (IT) for the company.

About the Role

This position is responsible for leading the performance of financial, business process, and information systems audits and special projects to assess the existence, effectiveness, and efficiency of internal controls, and compliance with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide staff with professional and technical expertise and guidance to ensure that audit objectives and scope are satisfied.
  2. Create, review, and approve pertinent IT audit workpapers and communications of audit results.
  3. Perform IT internal audits including audit planning, detailing control procedures and related testing and reporting in accordance with professional and departmental standards.
  4. Participate in pertinent risk assessment processes led by the Audit Management Team to ensure that audit plans cover higher risk areas.
  5. Lead/Participate in special projects undertaken by the department and/or the Company.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, technology, finance, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant business experience including IT internal audit or public accounting experience.
  • 2+ years of IT Audit experience.
  • Demonstrated solid interpersonal skills while working effectively with a team.
  • Demonstrated solid oral and written communication skills.
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
