  • Utilize advanced electronic systems to efficiently service customers and protect the bank's assets.
  • Determine the appropriate course of action based on established procedures to safeguard the bank's assets, collaborating with supervisors on complex cases.
  • Place holds on accounts suspected of fraudulent activity and take necessary steps to secure the account, documenting all actions taken in a timely and accurate manner to meet audit and compliance requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, merchants, financial institutions, and other personnel to resolve system issues or request additional information/documentation to support a decision on fraudulent activity.
  • Provide support to frontline Savings Specialists to ensure proper steps are taken on high-risk accounts.
  • Review new account applications and utilize fraud prevention tools to determine approval.
  • Engage with victims of identity theft, providing appropriate talking points while ensuring both the victim and the bank are secure.
  • Assess the validity of documentation and place/take calls as escalated and requested by Compliance partners or team leaders.
  • Collaborate with the Fraud Operations Team to resolve complex issues and escalated situations.
  • Participate in projects/initiatives to drive down fraud-related complaints and enhance the customer/fraud experience.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2-3 years of related customer service experience or fraud experience.
  • Strong understanding of the customer service experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
