Job Overview

We are seeking an Advanced Cardiac Monitoring Technician to join our team at Essentia Health. In this role, you will assist with the technical and non-technical aspects of cardiac monitoring of patients over age 18 who are on telemetry.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoots the monitoring equipment and is knowledgeable in all of the functions of monitoring equipment.
  • Recognizes heart rhythms, communicates changes in heart rhythms, and prepares the patients for monitoring.
Requirements
  1. Completed coursework in a medically related field such as nursing assistant, medical assistant, nursing, EMT, paramedic, respiratory care, or rhythm interpretation.
  2. Experience in a health-related field.
  3. Current certification (or within 30 days of hire) as American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
Salary and Benefits
