UMPhysicians, a non-profit organization headquartered in Minneapolis, is seeking a highly motivated Certified Nurse-Midwife to join its team. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal nurse-midwife training program with current certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) and eligibility for Minnesota RN license and prescription writing privileges.

Job Description:

Salary: We offer a competitive salary, estimated at $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide full-scope midwifery care to patients, focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, family planning, and preventative care throughout the lifetime.
  • Work as a member of the healthcare team in the independent management of maternity and gynecological health care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal nurse-midwife training program.
  • Certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
  • Eligibility for Minnesota RN license and prescription writing privileges.
  • Membership and involvement with the Minnesota Affiliate of ACNM and national ACNM.
