Construction Materials Testing Technician

We are seeking a skilled Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our team at Western Technologies, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM.
Job Summary:
As a Construction Materials Testing Technician, you will be responsible for testing and inspecting construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and hot mix asphalt on construction job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test and inspect construction materials to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
- Prepare daily reports on observation and testing activities
- Review reports and test data for accuracy and completeness
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry 30 to 50 lbs. and 80 lbs. periodically
- Basic math and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- ACI – American Concrete Institute Field or Laboratory certification
- ICC – International Code Council certification
- NICET – National Institution for Certification in Engineering Technologies certification
