Job Title: Groomer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Groomer to join our team at Parrett Veterinary Clinic. As a Groomer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients, ensuring their coats are clean and well-groomed. You will work closely with our veterinarians and support staff to deliver top-notch service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide bathing, fur and teeth brushing, nail trimming and grinding services to patients
  • Engage with clients to understand their expectations, patient special needs, and desired outcomes
  • Ensure grooming rooms or designated space are clean, sanitized, safe, and secure
  • Perform work according to established methods specified in practice procedure manual or following special instructions
  • Deliver final groomed patient to client and ensure satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Ability to work on weekends as required
  • Experience grooming / caring for animals
  • Previous veterinary experience preferred
  • Client satisfaction references preferred
  • Ability to lift patients up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients over 25 pounds with assistance
