Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst I - Survey Researcher to join our team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. As a key member of our research group, you will play a vital role in conducting surveys, analyzing data, and presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work on various projects, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to contribute meaningfully to group projects. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in survey data, utilizing advanced R skills for data wrangling, cleaning, and visualization, and documenting processes and maintaining organized records.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, statistics, data science, economics, or a related field
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions
- Proven experience in survey data analysis
- Advanced proficiency in R, including data wrangling, cleaning, and visualizations
- Experience working with complex survey sampling techniques and survey weighting
- Experience implementing complex surveys into survey software platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in social sciences, statistics, data science, economics, or a related field
- Coursework or experience in artificial intelligence, algorithms, hardware, software, or economics
Salary Information
The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
