Responsibilities:
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings according to facility policies.
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs.
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Assist with lab testing, phlebotomy, and injections.
- Support physicians in preparing for examinations and physicals.
- Coordinate scheduling of tests and treatments as needed.
- Answer phone calls and screen referrals to physicians.
- Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight.
- Organize workload efficiently and maintain professional relationships.
