  • We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to support our Mom/Baby Unit at Northwest Medical Center.
  • This is a Full Time, Night Shift position with a shift differential for Night/Evening Shifts.
  • The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated patient care services in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care services, including vital sign measurements, dressing changes, and assisting with patient transfers.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify potential health risks and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the registered nurse to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient education programs to promote health literacy and self-care.

Requirements:

  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a nursing program.
  • Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Tech is an asset.
