Overview

About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about working with children with special needs. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will be responsible for accurately collecting and recording data on client progress while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Accurately collect and record data on client progress while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Manage client records and documentation, ensuring compliance with medical standards and proper use of medical terminology.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support clients' behavioral and developmental needs.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your expertise in behavior management and therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • A genuine passion for working with children, along with patience and compassion.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $43,000-$53,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and cost of living in Meriden, CT.
