At ESPO, we are seeking a skilled Machine Fabricator to join our team. As a Machine Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in the assembly of our custom industrial machinery, both in-house and at local fabricators. This position requires hands-on expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to manage small teams and work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, debug, and modify custom industrial machinery, which may include light mechanical fabrication (machining, welding, painting, and wiring).
  • Inspect finished parts and machines to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, making any necessary adjustments or modifications as needed.
  • Responsible for organizing materials, workspace, and work sequence in the most efficient manner for machine builds.
  • Maintain accurate records of work, including project progress, materials used, and any modifications made to the equipment.
  • Some local and overnight travel may be required as part of your role, possibly for on-site installations or collaboration with clients and suppliers.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in machine fabrication and assembly of custom industrial machinery.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials commonly used in machine building and fabrication.
  • Strong attention to detail, precision, and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with engineers and colleagues.
  • Some local and overnight travel.
