Job Summary:

We are seeking a Recreation Coordinator who will assist in planning and supervising recreational programs for our facility. This role involves coordinating daily leisure activities, maintaining supplies, and ensuring the safety of recreational areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise daily recreational activities according to the building schedule.
  • Maintain physical inventories of supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Order replacement items in a timely manner, adhering to facility purchasing procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain the safety and sanitation of recreational areas.
  • Prepare and disseminate reports, including safety and accident reports.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Sixty credit hours of college coursework in Recreational Management, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a related field are preferred.
  • One year of experience in supervising recreation or leisure activities is necessary.

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate must be at least 18 years old.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.

Compensation:

The estimated hourly salary for this position is $17.97. The compensation package includes a competitive benefits plan and opportunities for growth within the organization.
