Freelance Psychiatrist

We are seeking a skilled and board-certified Psychiatrist to conduct independent medical examinations (IMEs) in Lake Placid, Florida. This role offers flexible scheduling with cases referred based on your availability.

• Review Medical Records:
  • Thoroughly review and analyze patient medical documents.
• Conduct In-Person Evaluations:
  • Perform in-person evaluations of psychiatric patients.
• Address Clinical Questions:
  • Respond to clinical queries from insurance carriers.
• Prepare Reports:
  • Deliver detailed IME reports within an expected turnaround time of 5 days.

• Flexibility:
  • Choose the cases you want to accept or reject based on your schedule.
• Competitive Compensation:
  • $150-$250 per hour, based on individual fee schedules.
• Organized Documentation:
  • All necessary medical documents will be provided in an organized manner.
• In-Person Exams:
  • IMEs must be conducted in person.

A board certification in psychiatry is required, as well as strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities. Previous experience in performing IMEs is a plus but not required.
