Job Summary

As a Portfolio Service Manager at Bryten Real Estate Partners, you will be responsible for leading a maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of our properties. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks and projects.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and work orders to optimize resource allocation and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing and electrical systems, as well as perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address potential maintenance issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance tasks.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; specialized vocational training or certification in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in building and facility maintenance, with a minimum of two years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and write in English at an intermediate level, with the ability to read diagrams, meters, and instructions, and write reports and other documents.
