Job Summary

This role involves providing individualized attention to guests, encouraging their ability to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. You will be responsible for carrying out assignments related to activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. Additionally, you will attend to individual needs, including incontinent care, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, and other needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care to guests, maintaining skin integrity and preventing pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage.
  • Carry out assignments related to ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Attend to individual needs, including incontinent care, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, and other needs.
  • Perform various tasks assigned by the floor nurse, including checking vital signs, weighing guests, applying creams/ointments, and collecting specimens.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to established infection control and standard precaution practices.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
  • Knowledge of individual care plans and willingness to support the care planning process.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and interact tactfully with guests, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
