Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team in New Jersey and New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns, creating compelling digital and in-store graphics, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize future initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute targeted email and SMS marketing campaigns, including crafting compelling messages, segmentation, scheduling, and monitoring deliverability rates.
  • Execute the social media calendar and strategy for Massachusetts and New York, ensuring alignment with our brand's voice and objectives.
  • Design digital and in-store graphics to support product launches, promotions, and programmatic ads.
  • Regularly report on the performance of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and cross-functional departments to ensure cohesive strategy development and deployment.
  • Manage and facilitate the creation of promotions for retail assets, ensuring the online customer experience aligns with promotions and discounts.
  • Support Retail Management for any compliance necessary store updates for any closures, maintenance updates, and or company updates.
  • Define program objectives and KPIs, analyze performance data in our CRMs to hit target KPIs, and provide reporting and analysis to leadership.
Objectives and Key Results
  • Optimize email and SMS communications across NJ & NY to increase loyalty program size, use, and effectiveness.
  • Grow the IG accounts for the retail brands in market.
  • Develop and execute market-specific event strategy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-5 years of experience in marketing.
  • 1-5 years of cannabis marketing experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, and content management systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail.
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills.
