Job Description

A Regional Van Truckload Driver position is available at Schneider, offering a unique blend of independence and structure.

This role involves driving a truck across the Eastern 37 states, hauling a high volume of freight to meet the demands of various industries. With consistent freight assignments, you can maximize your drive time and minimize downtime.

As a Regional Van Truckload Driver, you will be responsible for navigating the roads safely and efficiently, while also maintaining accurate records and adhering to company regulations. To succeed in this role, you must have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination across the Eastern 37 states, hauling a variety of freight.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, hours driven, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Adhere to all company regulations and guidelines, including safety protocols and Hours of Service requirements.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • HazMat endorsement preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience as a professional truck driver or related field.
Benefits
  • Competitive weekly pay: $960-$1,175.
  • Paid orientation.
  • Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
  • Annual bonus: Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.
