Job Overview

Our CPA firm is seeking a seasoned Tax Manager to lead our tax team and provide expert guidance on tax planning, strategy, and compliance for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Tax Compliance: Manage the tax compliance process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all relevant regulations.
  • Provide Tax Guidance: Offer expert advice on tax planning, strategy, and compliance to help clients optimize their financial strategies.
  • Research Tax Laws: Conduct thorough research on changing tax laws and regulations to keep the firm and clients informed of potential impacts.
  • Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to identify opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.
  • Lead Tax Team: Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements:
  • CPA Designation: Hold a current CPA designation.
  • Experience as Tax Manager: Proven experience as a Tax Manager or in a similar role within a CPA firm.
  • Tax Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership Experience: Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Active CPA License: Active CPA license.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in tax management.
  • Tax Software Proficiency: Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.

We estimate the salary range for this position to be between $80,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
