Description

Winship Clifton is seeking a clinician with broad experience in caring for patients and a sound understanding of the care of a particular patient population. The ideal candidate will utilize acquired knowledge, theory, research, and experience to respond to changes in clinical situations.

The successful candidate will deliver safe, dependable, and effective care to a patient population independently utilizing the nursing process. They will apply the Synergy Model for Care in practice and use this knowledge to personalize care for each patient/family.

The selected candidate will communicate effectively and respectfully with the patient, the patient's family, and other members of the healthcare team. They will document the nursing process accurately and in the appropriate format.

The ideal candidate will utilize patient/family input and goals in planning the plan of care. They will evaluate the patient's response to planned care and adjust the plan of care as appropriate.

The successful candidate will recognize needs and advocate for the patient based on knowledge of the condition. They will recognize that cultural differences need to be considered in developing patient and family relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program
  • Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board
  • BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments
Exceptions:

Individuals currently employed as a LPN within the EHC system at the time of completion of an accredited RN program and becoming licensed as a RN will be considered eligible to move to the Nurse Clinician title while matriculating through the Resident program.
