Key Responsibilities
The Operations Manager, Fleet Safety will be responsible for:
- Evaluating fleet loss control processes and recommending improvements to senior leaders and field associates.
- Ensuring team members are trained in the use of databases, electronic tools, and approaches to evaluate the extent of losses in transportation processes.
- Ensuring driver qualification files are monitored for accuracy, updated in a timely manner, and comply with DOT and company standards.
- Developing countermeasures and controls at the regional, divisional, and fleet level to minimize transportation-related risks.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management; Industrial Hygiene; Environmental Science, Traffic Safety; Transit Safety; Chemical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2 years' experience in the field of Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills to identify root causes of safety issues and develop effective solutions.

Additional Compensation
You will also receive an estimated annual salary range of $67,724.80-$139,000.00, depending on your job classification and length of employment. Additional compensation may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location and quarterly performance bonuses.
