Compensation Package:
- We offer a highly competitive salary guarantee period with bonus incentives, generous time off, and a comprehensive benefits package.
- The annual compensation range for this position is $246,755 - $296,789.
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Internal Medicine Physician to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to our commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans, and conducting thorough medical examinations and histories.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing clear and concise medical information, and fostering a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, performing procedures as needed, and collaborating with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
- Collaborating with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions, and providing consultative services to other healthcare providers.
- Participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, reviewing and analyzing clinical outcomes for continuous improvement, and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Adhering to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, staying informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, and participating in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
- Staying abreast of medical advancements and best practices, participating in ongoing medical education and training, and contributing to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
- A valid and unrestricted California medical license.
- Board eligible or board certified in internal medicine (ABMS or AOA).
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program.
