Overview:

Stryten Energys Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is a cutting-edge solution for the transition to clean energy capture and usage. This role involves leading the preparation, review, and management of technical documentation for utility scale BESS projects, encompassing conceptual and detailed design, specifications, and studies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in battery energy storage and battery management systems (BMS). They will also have a working knowledge of BESS standards and UL codes, as well as experience with programming languages, Modbus, and SCADA systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and drawings. They will also be accountable for providing design activities in accordance with applicable codes and standards, policies, and procedures.

Additionally, the candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, including project managers, product engineers, sales teams, and external stakeholders, contractors, and end customers, to ensure project success.

Key qualifications for this role include a BS in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years of experience working with battery energy storage and BMS, and 1+ years of power electronics design experience.

The successful candidate will be a customer-focused, creative, and timely decision-maker with strong problem-solving skills and a drive for results.
