Digital Media Strategist

The Account Director will play a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of media strategies for key client accounts or high-volume accounts. This individual will oversee the alignment of client goals with paid media efforts, ensuring seamless collaboration across internal and external teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead client engagements, ensuring client success by driving performance towards goals and communicating strategy and results effectively.
- Develop and execute robust media strategies, leading cross-team collaboration and ensuring strategic alignment.
- Ensure client goals are clearly understood by account teams and that teams are well-equipped to achieve goals.
- Navigate client internal structures adeptly, building meaningful relationships with key stakeholders across departments, and earning client trust through a keen focus on refinement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal and external teams to align paid media efforts with client goals.
- Maintain and track clear objectives for each team and initiative, ensuring success is quantifiable and measurable.
- Work fluidly and expediently with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
- Leverage a robust understanding of digital media and performance marketing metrics to ensure client reporting is effective, productive, and demonstrates value.
- Assist in defining budget allocation, overseeing budget tracking, and ensuring media spend is allocated efficiently.
- Organize, project manage, and assist in presenting key client reports, such as weekly performance decks, monthly creative recaps, and quarterly business reviews.
- Review all client presentations to ensure material follows a logical progression and is clear, concise, and digestible to clients while maintaining the detail necessary.
- Assist in the delivery of creative analysis to end clients and creative agencies.
- Join key meetings with account teams and creative agencies as needed to discuss creative and creative performance.
- Ensure clear expectations for each client meeting and work with relevant parties to ensure material is accurate and prepared in a timely manner.
- Balance shifting priorities across internal and external stakeholders, maintaining fluid communication across teams.
- Ensure Optimal CAE exceeds expectations for key account contacts.
- Support the accounting business activities for clients' business units.
- 4+ years of full-time, professional paid media experience, including 2+ years of hands-on campaign buildout and optimization.
- Consistent track record overseeing client success for large accounts with high campaign volume, large budgets, and complex omni-channel paid media strategies.
- Best-in-class communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for producing highly effective and engaging client reporting decks.
- Superior ability to analyze trends in data.
- Experience with Display or Programmatic advertising.
- Outstanding analytical skills.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- 4-year Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, statistics, analytics, or a related field is a plus.
- The base salary ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 annually, depending on factors including experience, skill level, education, and location.

This role is based out of our Austin office. Our Austin team works on a hybrid basis, with three days per week working in the office and two days per week working from home. Work hours are consistently 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday, with the expectation that evening and weekend work will be required as necessary.
