Leasing Assistant

Job Summary
The QTI Group is seeking a Part-Time Leasing Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall leasing of 4 apartment communities and assist the property manager. The position operates Monday through Friday with an occasional weekend day between the hours of 8:00am and 5:30pm, requiring 20-30 hours of work per week at a rate of $25/hr+ based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the leasing process from initiation to completion.
- Greet walk-in traffic during open office hours and attend to needs, questions, or complaints.
- Conduct apartment showings and process applications for residency while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local Fair Housing Laws.
- Assist with turnover coordination.
- Maintain tenant files and audit when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist all clients in a positive and friendly manner.
- Perform weekly property visits to inspect community rooms, lobbies, drop boxes, update memo boards, parcel rooms, parking garages, fitness rooms, rooftop terraces, etc.
- Assist with tenant relations and pop-up events.
- Assist Property Manager with other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 2+ years of leasing experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service-focused with the ability to be a strong team player.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends.
- Must be able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs.
- Access to a reliable car, valid car insurance, and driver license.
- Must be professional in attitude and appearance.
- Technically savvy with technology, i.e. smartphones, printers, fax machines, and computers.
