The Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist plays a critical role in this program, responsible for preparing equipment, identifying patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.

This position requires strong technical skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities. The ideal candidate will be registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or hold registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).

A minimum of one year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting is preferred, with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment.

The salary for this position ranges from $27.84 to $45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of equipment before and during procedures
  • Identification and assessment of patient condition
  • Maintenance of a sterile environment
  • Servicing as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
  • Participation in orientation of new staff

Requirements:

  • Registered as a Radiographer with the ARRT or RCIS
  • One year of experience working in a Cath Lab setting preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS training required within six months of hire
