Highly Rewarding OB/GYN Physician Opportunity in Milwaukee

As a skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology physician at Ascension Health, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and experienced OB/GYN with a passion for providing exceptional care to patients. You will work collaboratively with a talented team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
- Participate in academic programs (e.g., medical education and research) as requested.
- Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on-call schedules.
Ascension Columbia St. Marys Hospital is a tertiary care hospital with a level 3 NICU, Perioperative Suites, including the XI and SI robots, and a 24/7 Anesthesia team. We offer a beautiful working environment with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
Benefits and CompensationWe offer a competitive salary of $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, various health insurance options, retirement benefits, long-term and short-term disability, employee assistance programs, parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities to give back to your community.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
