Job Summary:

As a Field Sales and Marketing Representative at Techtronic Industries - TTI, you will be responsible for driving sales of our premier product lines within one of our largest retailer partners. This role will allow you to enhance your selling, account management, and communication skills while launching your career in a fast-paced and extremely rewarding company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Service: Perform best-in-class sales and service to consumers while demonstrating knowledge and enthusiasm for TTI products.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Support and implement strategic corporate brand marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain regular contact with store associates and management to cultivate strong relationships.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor weekly sales and analyze monthly results to identify additional opportunities and understand the competition.
  • Training and Development: Participate in the TTI Training Program and implement all acquired skills to deliver results.
  • Product Training: Initiate and provide in-store product training sessions and demonstrations to educate store associates, management, and customers.
  • Communication: Professionally communicate with all peers, customers, and management.
  • Event Planning: Plan and execute demo events, store walks, trade shows, etc.
  • Market Knowledge: Develop primary knowledge of the marketplace (users, applications, products, competition, and channels) to effectively analyze market potential and communicate competitor market data.
  • Store Aesthetic: Maintain store and product aesthetic through proper merchandising, positioning, and objective completion.
  • Inventory Management: Down stock product and monitor / maintain inventory levels to ensure availability for sales.
  • Reset and Merchandising: Participate in small to large scale resets and merchandising installations to update or expand our brand presence in stores.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell directly to our customers in the retail environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in retail sales, field sales or customer service required.
  • Age: Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid United States driver's license in your state of residence with at least one full year of driving experience.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Report screening.
  • Vehicle Insurance: Possess and maintain valid personal vehicle insurance as the primary driver
  • Relocation: Relocation may be required for future promotional opportunities.
  • Work Schedule: Ability to work nights and weekends – Weekends will be required at different points throughout the year.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a retail environment full time.
  • Physical Demands: Capable of lifting and transporting heavy tools (up to 50 lbs.) and requesting assistance as needed.
  • Computer Skills: Applicant must be MS Office proficient.
  • Soft Skills: Applicant should be self-motivated and a team player with strong organizational, planning and time management skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: Starting between $24.04 and $25.96/hour equating to a Target Annual Salary of $50,000 - $54,000
  • Sales Contests: Sales Contests and Incentives to Earn Additional Income (In Correlation with Business Needs / Focuses)
  • Vehicle Allowance: Vehicle Allowance of $400/month equating to a target of $4800/year
  • Company Benefits: Medical, Vision, and Dental Benefits Available
  • 401K: 401K (Company Matches 50% up to 8% of Salary)
  • Holidays: Eligible for up to 10 Paid Holiday (Based on hire date)
  • PTO: Accrue up to 104 hours of PTO – 1st Year – Based on hire date
