Custodial Services Coordinator

The Custodial Services Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within the educational facility. This position involves various custodial duties aimed at supporting the overall functioning of the school and ensuring a positive learning environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all areas of the school premises.
- Ensure proper sanitization protocols are followed, especially in high-touch surfaces and sensitive areas.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers, adhering to waste management guidelines and environmental regulations.
- Identify maintenance and repair needs within the school facility and report to the appropriate authorities.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors by promptly addressing safety hazards and slippery surfaces.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in janitorial or custodial services preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy lifting, bending, and kneeling.
