Dentist - Correctional Health Specialist

As a Dentist at Wellpath, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of underserved individuals. You will provide dental care and treatment to patients in a correctional facility, adhering to facility regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides dental care and treatment to referred patients in accordance with facility regulations and standards.
Performs routine cleaning, restorative dentistry, and extractions as needed.
Evaluates patients' dental care needs and makes clinically appropriate recommendations.
Maintains accurate and confidential patient records and provides in-service training for health staff members.
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited school of dental medicine.
One year of experience in general dentistry preferred.
Must have and maintain current licensure as a dentist within the state of employment.
Must obtain and maintain CPR certification.
