Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Repair Technician to join our team at US Foods, Inc. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of road equipment, including tractors and trailers.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Complete documentation of all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability.
  • Handle road service calls and perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of commercial diesel mechanic experience or 2 years of experience with TK or refrigeration certification.
  • Demonstrated independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience in administering an appropriate PM program.
  • Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
