Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Education Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare by developing and implementing educational programs that promote excellence in patient care and clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff, focusing on evidence-based practices and continuous quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with nursing leaders to foster a culture of professionalism, innovation, and teamwork.
  • Design and implement competency management systems to ensure optimal skill levels among nursing staff.
  • Analyze data to inform educational needs assessments and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Promote the alignment of regional NPD and practice excellence with the New Britain General system as a whole.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of active clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an acute care environment.
  • Experience as a preceptor or educator highly desirable.
  • NPD or Clinical Specialty Certification within 2 years of hire date.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse from the CT DPH obtained prior to hire date.
Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 per annum.Benefits:
