The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with Right at Home's policies and procedures, as well as all other applicable procedure manuals, laws, and relevant professional standards.
This role requires a skilled and compassionate nurse to manage assigned patients, ensuring their physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs are met. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for performing wound care, re-certifications, evaluations, start of care, and Oasis assessments (if possible). They will also perform comprehensive subjective and objective admission and ongoing assessments of client status, including physical, psychosocial, and environmental parameters.
Additionally, the Registered Nurse will formulate individualized plans of care, provide skilled interventions aimed at achieving realistic outcomes within a specified time period, and modify and update the plan of care to reflect progress toward outcomes.
The ideal candidate will consistently demonstrate competency with technical nursing skills according to legal scope of practice, practice nursing with respect for individual, cultural, and spiritual differences, coordinate delivery of care along the healthcare continuum using the resources of Right at Home and the community, communicate effectively regarding patient's condition, and use professional nursing judgment to delegate selected nursing tasks when determined safe and appropriate.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the Registered Nurse will need to have a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing with one year of clinical experience within the past five years or completion of an accredited refresher course within the past two years. They must also hold a current State RN license, knowledge and ability to provide skilled nursing care as defined in the State Nurse Practice Act, current CPR certification, and meet current health requirements to provide patient care.
Furthermore, the Registered Nurse will need to be available for work on weekends and holidays as required, possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job, and have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
