Recreational Therapist

We offer an attractive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.

The Recreational Therapist will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary teams, responsible for performing therapeutic recreational assessments, recommending interventions, and carrying out activity therapy programs in assigned treatment areas. This position provides direct patient care to various populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric adults.

• Plan and implement group sessions for each population
• Develop and conduct individual sessions
• Document group and individual sessions
• Complete Activity/Recreational Therapy assessments
• Maintain and order materials and supplies for interventions

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Therapeutic Recreation, or a related field, with a minimum of one year of experience providing direct individual or group therapeutic services. Additionally, a Licensed Certified Recreation Therapist (CTRS) certification and at least one year of experience in a psychiatric setting are required.
