American Girl Experience Associate Part-Time Under-Permanent

The Opportunity:
The Experience Associate (Doll Hair Stylist) is a key role at the AG Retail location, reporting directly to the Assistant Salon Manager. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional salon services and adapting to changing business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Approach and assist customers promptly, ensuring a positive experience.
- Execute doll hair styles successfully, adhering to company standards and demonstrating proper doll hair care and skin care techniques.
- Perform ear piercing services for girls and dolls, with training and certification provided.
- Conduct inventory of salon supplies, restock as needed, and communicate replenishment requirements.
- Participate in Salon events, including Doll Hair and Manicure Day events, hair demos, and private birthday parties.
- Assist in other areas of the store as needed, sharing product knowledge and answering customer questions.
- Collaborate with co-workers to create a positive work environment and assist in training new associates.
Qualifications:
- Sales experience in the specialty retail or service industry is preferred.
- Experience styling hair, especially for dolls, is preferred.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
- Must be willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
