Salary: The estimated annual salary for this role is around $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled leader to oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our valued customers. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility with work schedule, including working late nights and weekends, averaging 50 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform line and prep functions alongside hourly employees, contributing to a smooth kitchen workflow.
  • Process food & smallware orders as needed, maintaining efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Help maintain a fully staffed Back of House department, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, guests, and management, fostering strong relationships and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Oversee all foodservice operations, adhering to high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary Back of House area, meeting health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining budgeted labor and food costs, optimizing resources and minimizing waste.
  • Prepare reports as needed, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • E nsure the safety of employees and guests at all times, upholding company values and standards.
  • Uphold all company values and standards at all times, embodying the spirit of our organization.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or requested, embracing opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a back-of-house leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring compliance and excellence in these areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, driving results through effective communication and coaching.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and upbeat attitude under pressure, embodying the 'can-do' spirit of our team.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a passion for culinary arts and delivering top-quality dishes.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and ongoing learning.
