We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Insurance Phone Representative to join our team at UT Health Austin. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient interactions and efficient insurance processing.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues related to benefits, copays, and out-of-pocket expenses.
- Collaborate with revenue cycle management to identify and resolve recurring insurance payment discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient benefit information into the EHR, facilitating effective communication with front desk staff.
- Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements related to patient finances, adhering to established timelines and organizational policies.
- Meet or exceed performance targets established by the Clinical Revenue Cycle Director, maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other revenue cycle software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
