Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Clerk PRN to join our team. As a Phlebotomy Clerk, you will be responsible for performing specimen procurement procedures on patients of all age groups in various hospital areas, including Outpatient services and off-site facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize incoming requests for collections and respond in a timely manner.
  • Perform all collection techniques as described in the Specimen Procurement manual using safety collection devices.
  • Maintain supplies and perform other duties as required by the Supervisor.
  • May be required to perform duties outside the hospital confines.

Qualifications:

  • Six (6) months experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
  • High School diploma, GED, or Higher Education required.
  • Phlebotomy Certification from an accredited national credentialing agency preferred.
  • Ability to travel between facilities as needed.
