Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead a functional team specialized in marketing and sales, interacting with technical personnel internally and externally to drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement best practices for small to large BESS projects across all product lines, including residential, commercial, industrial, utility scale, and UPS.
  • Act as a domain expert on BESS, collaborating with parent ESS related parties, reviewing financial considerations, and approving optimal solutions for projects.
  • Establish metrics and targets for continuous improvement in project delivery, tracking construction progress, acquisition opportunities, and new market identification.
  • Participate in industry conferences, networking committees, and maintain close connections to trends in the competitive market.
  • Negotiate contracts with key customers, partners, vendors, consultants, and installation subcontractors to leverage and scale Gotion's ESS competitive position globally.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, preferably in the energy sector.
  • BA in Finance, Marketing, or other related fields (MBA preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in the energy sector, specifically ESS.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
  • Experience working in a startup or similar environment.
  • Global experience and understanding of multicultural nuances driving decision-making processes.
  • Base in South America and Fremont office, CA.

The base pay range for this role is $130,000 - $180,000 USD per year, depending on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location. This provides you with opportunities to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion.
