Primary Care Leader Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine physician to join our team at Marathon Health. As a leading provider of advanced primary care in the U.S., we serve 2.5 million eligible patients through approximately 630 employer and union-sponsored clients.

Delivered through our 680+ health centers across 41 states, we prioritize convenient access to both in-person and virtual care, resulting in improved health outcomes and significant cost savings.

About the Role

You will provide high-quality, proactive primary care to adults and children in partnership with local employers or unions. Our focus is on prevention and wellness, acute and chronic disease management, and maximizing provider-patient relationships.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provision of full-spectrum primary care
  • Developing and maintaining strong patient relationships
  • Collaboration with other healthcare professionals

We offer:

  • A smaller patient panel (less than half the traditional PCP panel size)
  • More time with your patients: appointments range from 20 to 60 minutes
  • Fewer administrative and insurance-related tasks

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $245,000 - $255,000 per year, depending on geographic location and years of experience. Additionally, you will be eligible for an annual incentive.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Active state license required; DEA preferred
  • Board certification (or eligible) in Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine and Pediatrics
  • CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
