Job Description

As a Strategic Business Development Manager - Security Solutions, you will be responsible for selling security and integrated systems to building owners, particularly within the construction industry. You will cultivate long-term customer relationships, promote the company's value proposition, and ensure customer satisfaction through a consultative sales approach. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to drive sales and expand Johnson Controls' offerings within assigned accounts.

What We Offer

Competitive salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year. Paid vacation/holidays/sick time (15 days of vacation first year). Responsibilities

You will:

  • Under specific direction, be responsible for the sale of Johnson Controls service offerings to owners, primarily at the Director level.
  • Promote the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners by providing technical solutions and operational expertise.
  • Buidls and manages long term customer relationships/partnerships with target and managed accounts.
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction. Selling Security and Integrated Systems to the construction industry.
  • Performs the sales process to cultivate and manage long term relationships and seeking out, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities. Obtain and close sales on a monthly basis.
  • Seeks to expand the depth and breadth of Johnson Controls offerings within an account.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Degree or equivalent experience of more than eight years.
  • A minimum of two (2) plus years of consultative progressive field sales experience in a highly complex sales process preferably in the Fire/Security/IT industry; with a strong emphasis on Security selling.
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels.
