Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team at ATC Healthcare - West. This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a guaranteed 36 hours of work per week.

About the Job

In this role, you will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments. As a skilled Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while working in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, from acute respiratory distress syndrome to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimize treatment outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment progress

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RRT certification and relevant experience in the field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, medications, and equipment
