Job Summary:

Himmel's Architectural Door and Hardware is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at our Nashville location. As a key member of our Estimating Department, you will be responsible for performing take-offs, identifying relevant drawings and details, and reviewing specifications. You will also be responsible for efficiently communicating and working with customers, vendors, and architects to provide the best solution to meet the needs of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform take-offs, identify relevant drawings and details, and review specifications
* Identify door and hardware products that give us a competitive advantage while still meeting the requirements of the project
* Efficiently communicate and work with customers, vendors, and architects to ensure we are providing the best solution to meet the needs of the project
* Accurately input door, frame, and hardware information into estimating software (Comsense)
* Provide clear and precise proposals to customers
* Follow-up on all bids to ensure customers are happy with scope and price

Requirements:

* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Bluebeam
* Excellent mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills
* Ability to effectively perform in an advanced, fast-paced environment both individually and as part of a team
* Self-motivated, strong work ethic, positive and helpful demeanor, and excellent customer service skills
* Must pass drug and alcohol screen and successfully complete random screens
