Overview

Acuity, Inc. is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to support a high-profile government client using React/Java technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in collaborative environments, delivering sophisticated applications, and working with cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project team members to design and implement technical solutions.
• Architect, build, and maintain applications, including connecting data sources, analyzing data, building business logic, and configuring visualizations.
• Apply Agile principles to gather business requirements and translate them into functional/technical specifications.
• Develop and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Diagnose problems, troubleshoot, and develop technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in developing enterprise-quality solutions in an iterative or Agile environment.
• Strong Java programming experience with end-to-end solutions, front-end JavaScript frameworks, and integration with backend data services.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in web UI development using React.
• Experience with cloud-based applications, open-source technology, containers, and microservices.
• Knowledge of software engineering approaches, including Test Automation, Build Automation, and Configuration Management frameworks.
• Code management using Git and experience with Jira and/or Confluence.
• Excellent communication skills and strong customer service commitment.
