Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Novant Health Steelecroft Primary Care clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe, quality, and cost-effective care for our patients.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct preliminary exams, documenting patient data, and ensuring chart completeness.
  • Interview patients to identify current medical needs and relevant patient history.
  • Assist with examinations, treatments, special tests, and procedures within the scope of practice.
  • Administer medication as ordered by the clinician.

Requirements
  • Certification or registry as a Medical Assistant, such as CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT).
  • Previous work experience in a medical setting is preferred.
  • Ability to complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
