We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team at Washington Trust Bank in Spokane, WA.

About the Role

This role is primarily responsible for servicing consumer loans and ensuring the credibility of the loan system. The successful candidate will have proficiency in one or more areas, including commercial or retail loan servicing, processing financial transactions, and loan reconciliation functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately service loan portfolio
  • Handle monetary transactions, maintenance entries, and updates to the core application
  • Handle loan boarding and collateral perfection
  • Balance transactions, verify input, identify, and correct rejects
  • Provide high-quality customer service, researching and resolving customer issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated accuracy in working with detailed data in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working in a loan servicing or related environment (desired)
  • Knowledge of loan documentation, collateral perfection, and general loan servicing, as well as bank, federal, and state policies and requirements (desired)
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to and utilize systems and applications
  • Strong telephone and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work projects to meet deadlines

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $17.56 - $26.37 per hour, depending on location, experience, and performance.
