Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled in the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are looking for a caring and knowledgeable Registered Technologist to expand our cardiovascular team.
About Norman Regional Health SystemWe have emerged as a beacon of workplace excellence, offering a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team works closely with nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide exceptional patient care.

- Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation
- American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation
We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to prepare equipment before and during procedures, identify and assess patient conditions, and establish and maintain a sterile environment. This role requires strong collaboration with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Responsibilities- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition.
- Prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Participates in the orientation of new staff.
- Maintains strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification.
- Cardiovascular (CV), (CI), and/or (VI) certification preferred.
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $57,427 and $94,083, based on previous work experience.
