Job Title: Lead Athletics Support Staff

About the Role:
This role is responsible for providing support to the head coach in meeting the criteria for a successful athletics program. The ideal candidate will have certification by the Kentucky Department of Education or approved paraprofessional qualification.

Key Responsibilities:
• Year-round: Assist the head coach in carrying out assigned responsibilities, maintain knowledge of rules and regulations regarding the sport, and ensure proper registration of all athletes.
  • Seasonal: Meet with the squad to discuss all rules and regulations, assume supervisory control over athletes and teams, apply discipline in a firm and positive manner, and emphasize safety precautions.
  • End of season: Assist in return, storage, and inventory of school equipment, and perform additional duties as assigned by the head coach or athletic director.
